Daniel Aguilar; disqualified because he did not want to fight

Rare and unusual thing at RFA 15 (Resurrection Fighting Alliance, an association of MMA): a fighter was disqualified because he did not want to fight.

As you can see below in the video, Daniel Aguilar (10-4), received several warnings by the referee of the fight, Mike Beltran, before getting disqualify because he did not want to back up.

Aguilar, who has a habit of winning his fights by submission, on the ground, saw that he could not beat his opponent with fists and therefore decided to encourage him to come to fight on the ground.

According to the official rules of the MMA, a fighter may be disqualifying because it is too "shy" (avoid contact, drop on a voluntary basis and to repeat his mouth guard or faking an injury).

The regulation adds: "shyness is defined by a fighter who, in a voluntary and repeated manner, avoids any form of contact with his opponent. Shyness can also be invoked when a fighter feigned an injury or grave repeatedly on the ground, no reason apparent. There will be also shyness if a fighter drops to repeat his mouth guard or does any other Act to slow the fight".
