Kickboxing champion Tyrone Spong was in Dublin for the last UFC and met Dana White to tell him of his intention to fight in the UFC. It does not necessarily contract long term, but would like to prove what he can do in a fight. "Sign me for a fight only" said White.
Remember that Spong spoke to debut in professional boxing before breaking his leg against Gökhan Saki (see video below).
Spong should be healed of his wound in 2015. Therefore, if and only if seen in the UFC, it will not be before that date. It is still unclear if Dana White is interested to see him fight in the organization.
