FTP software is now available!

Yesterday, in this day of Halloween, was a landmark day for poker players who were able to download again the Full Tilt Poker platform. Logging into the software, you could finally review the funds there sleeping for several months now.

As a result, it is now possible for Canadians to pick up their funds. Although the reopening of Full Tilt Poker is good news, players will probably quickly disillusioned.

On the side of the affiliates, it was decided that they do his compensation for any outstanding money. Furthermore, as no affiliate program will be put in place by early 2013, it will be impossible for players to receive additional compensation.

Finally, rakeback 27% (plus bonus) will not renewed, so that from now on, players will have more access to a VIP program where they will receive between 10% and 25%, one of the lowest returns in the industry.

Full Tilt Poker will not offer rakeback in the traditional sense as she offered it before. This change applies to all players.

For more details on the VIP program, you can see the article that PokerCollectif had written on the subject: Details of the Full Tilt Poker VIP program.

In short:

-an offer based on several levels of reward according to the volume of game;

-the passage of the "dealt" to the "weight contributed", which means that only players involved in a hand will be rewarded with points.

-the disappearance of promotions reserved for the biggest players, like Iron Man or Black Card (even if the latter could return later in another form);

-contrary to the rakeback by affiliation, there will be no deduction or no fees. "The 25% will be almost always cheaper than the former 27% rakeback".

-weekly payments will cost no FTP. The points will be equivalent to "4 or 5% additional cashback";

-the value of the FTPs will be thus higher, which will also increase the importance of promotions such as Happy Hours.

For people who are a little pessimistic about the attractiveness of FTP for the regular, you say that maybe promotions here and there will make sure to add the value to your "rakeback". For example, we already know that Full Tilt Poker will launch a promotion named: "Deal me in" that will be interesting for several players. Maybe it's the new way of doing less rakeback, but more promotion. As a reminder, the "Deal Me In" promotion.

The promotion will include:

-$250,000 freeroll tournaments - Deal Me In freeroll tournaments will be held from November 6 to November 11, 2012, with a guaranteed $ 250,000 awards total. The guarantee of the tournaments will change from day to day. November 11, $ 10,000 in scholarships will be guaranteed for each of the 10 tournaments scheduled this day!

-Deal Me In bonus package - players of cash games will be offered a package with at least a $ 200 cash bonus and a ticket for a part of Rush Poker Ring Game (no more precise details on this part). This bonus will be added to the first deposit bonus that you can see on the home page of Full Tilt Poker.

-Players can exchange their Full Tilt points for cash prizes, tournament tickets and other things in the Full Tilt Store. Tickets will also be available for the rings games, the Steps, the FTOPS and other popular tournaments taking place every week on Full Tilt Poker.

-Happy Hour - As was the case before, you will have periods of "happy hours" during which you can double your FTP points. As mentioned above, players will be able to use these points to purchase tickets tournament for example.

For more details on this promotion, you can consult our article here: Details of the promotion Deal Me In.

What is Full Tilt Poker will again attract players? We have the response from November 6th (the official reopening date).

You can note in closing that it is now possible to reacquaint themselves with the Full Tilt Poker software by playing the fictional money today.
