Six of the 12 casinos in Atlantic City now have an active online poker room.

As we announced earlier this month, PokerStars is part of the major absentees. The giant will have to wait 5 years before you can join with other poker rooms.

The opening follows the 5-day trial period that just ended. This trial period was to correct possible faults, mainly at the level of the process of verification of the location of players.

To date, thirteen platforms offer poker, blackjack and roulette. The two most popular Duets for the moment, PartyPoker/Borgata and WSOP/888 if we did the figures advanced by the site Pokerscout.

Even if PokerStars isn't part and we wanted the sulk officially for the next 5 years, discussions continue between the leaders of PokerStars and theAmerican Gaming Association. Some claimed that PokerStars may possibly have to pay a fine of "bad actor" to regain its right to operate immediately. Other sources have confirmed that the candidacy of PokerStars should be put on ice for the next 5 years and that a fine would be insufficient. The continuation of these negotiations will tell us more about the future of the giant online in New Jersey.
