PokerStars announces the schedule of the WCOOP from 8 to September 29, 2013

PokerCollectif had spoken you quickly this month, but today we take the time to give you more details: the program of the World Championship of Online Poker (WCOOP for the rest of the article) 2013 is now known.

The tournament series will be held from 08 to 29 September 2013 and will include 66 tournaments for a total guaranteed prize of 40 M$.

The main event as it will be played on 2 days, September 29-30. The cost of entry will be $ 5,200 and the variant will be the Hold'em no limit. A total in grants of 8 M$ is guaranteed for this tournament (3 m$ more than last year which is good news).

The winner of the tournament will receive a minimum of 1, $25M.

To the subject of this series of tournaments, Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier said recently: "the World Championship of Online Poker is certainly the biggest online tournament series. My goal is to play a maximum of events this year and resume the leadership in number of bracelets. I believe that Dan Kelly has four, so I'd like to have five, but there are many ways to do!"

In addition to the WCOOP bracelets, PokerStars will also reward players achieving the best performance during WCOOP. The player at the top of the leaderboard will thus win a package PokerStars Caribbean Adventure 2014 and entries for the Turbo Championship of Online Poker 2014 and the Spring Championship of Online Poker-WCOOP Main Event, all for a total of 33,000. Other top 10 players will receive tickets for TCOOP, SCOOP and WCOOP according to their position in the ranking.
