Redemption of FTP by PokerStars; official by the end of may?

Unfortunately, once again only by rumors. We would have liked to give you specific facts, clear dates and official details, but for now, we have still only a rumor. But a good rumor concerning FTP, one more hear you say me.

PokerCollectif recently spoke you of the possible repurchase of FTP by PokerStars.

 

 

Since this new, nothing. Nothing to confirm or refute all want to be a reality. Today, rumors circulating around the Web learn us that this agreement could formalize the end of the month. According to the iGaming Post, counsel for Full Tilt Poker, Barry Boss, confirmed that a hearing was underway with the Department of Justice (DoJ) and that a plan for the repayment of the players had been planned. According to the article, an announcement should be made by the end of the month. Other rumours could read this official announcement within the next 10 days. Was 10 ready days of the biggest news in the world of poker for the past twelve months?

Under the agreement, PokerStars will have the right to apply for an American licence when (if) the online poker will be legalized in the United States, even if yet, several States (such as New Jersey) call for an automatic exclusion of delinquent poker rooms, in other words, the poker rooms that have not met the UIGEA in 2006 (including PokerStars and Full Tilt Poker).

The iGaming Post article implied that an agreement between FTP and PokerStars would be already signed.

So, in summary, there was no official comment published on the part of Full Tilt Poker or PokerStars, but we will keep you informed as soon as an official statement will be issued for this folder. We will wish the best of luck from here there.
