ongameThe Ongame network will be probably sold in part or in full to strategic partners, said a poraole door of Bwin.

Following the merger between Bwin and PartyPoker, Ongame network sites have been included in the prospectus of fusion as "unnecessary additional assets" and of which the potential sale to generate revenues could be subsequently re-invested.

"Once the merger is completed, we will have assets exdedentaires. "All Bwin that PartyPoker have solid platforms, and to avoid unnecessary duplication, not all these assets be necessary", a - you it indicated. Other Ongame network sites could therefore be offered to a potential buyer, but no date was mentioned. The spokesman also stressed that nothing was and that Bwin will perhaps wait for a likely U.S. regulations in order to obtain the best possible price.

Let us recall also that Bwin purchased Ongame network for 474 m€ in December 2005. The network then lost a lot of value in October 2006 when Ongame had to withdraw from the U.S. market. With the regulation that is likely to change in the next few years, some major players (as many networks already in place that some parties who are patiently waiting on the side lines) are likely to see interest.
