Slight change in policy at Moneybookers

Moneybookers alias Skrill sent a press release this morning to inform its customers of a change in policy in the section of user fees to pay.

This new policy does not apply to VIP clients according to the terms and conditions.

In the past, an account was considered inactive when the client had not logged in to her account and had no transactions for 18 months. This definition will change from February 25 while an inactive account will be judged so after 12 months of inactivity.

When your account will be deemed inactive, Moneybookers will remove your account 1 EUR (or the equivalent) each month following the inactivity.

If you ever have any objections to this new way to operate, you can directly contact Moneybookers via their customer service.

Then, your account will be closed and a cheque will be sent to you by the amount of your balance. If you do not contact support prior to the date of entry into force of this new policy, it is that you have accepted the new policy.

This policy will not affect many of our members, but we still wanted to take a few minutes to clarify this information.
