This is the SubjectPoker site which was the first to teach him: Bernard (GBT) group and the Department of Justice (DoJ) have come to an agreement. SubjectPoker.com tells us that this agreement will enable the acquisition of FulltiltPoker by Bernard Tapie group if however the current shareholders of FTP validate this option.

According to Subject Poker, several sources have confirmed that this email was sent by Ray Bitar to the shareholder of Tiltwares.

Dear members,

I am pleased to announce that today ' today the DoJ and the Bernard Tapie Group found an agreement in principle concerning the acquisition of the companies including FullTiltPoker. According to the knowledge I have of the agreement, it states that in Exchange for an agreement on the payment of players by the Bernard Tapie group and the commitment of the Group Bernard Tapie to take responsibility for repayment of the players from the rest of the world, the DoJ will reimburse US players and will resolve the current civil disputes with companies including Full Tilt Poker.

Apart from these conditions, questions of deadlines and the procedures for reimbursement of the players remain unclear at the present time.Having acquired the consent of the DoJ, the Bernard Tapie group can now finalize a deal to acquire companies and assets including Full Tilt Poker. This agreement will most likely clear up the status of your shares or interest in the company which will take over. When will I receive this agreement, I will ensure coordination with our lawyers to ensure that the terms of the proposed agreement is shared with the members and put to the vote.

As it has already been said previously by the Alderney Gambling Control Commission: "It is important to note that the revocation of the licence of FTP does not prevent reactivation of the license when the company will have found new owners and will be managed by other people."

In other words, the GBT could obtain a license of the AGCC to operate FTP.

After goes it and comes from news from the last months (good, bad, good, bad), this news is a very promising and very encouraging.
