wsop2012_resultat A 15th place for Philippe Boucher in NLHE $ 1,500; First bracelet in Limit Hold'em Benjamin Scholl; rapid elimination Christopher McClung, but 34th for Patrick Rinfret in NLHE $ 1,000; A final table for Jason Lavallée Triple Draw tournament; one day pass Quebecers # 2 NLHE $ 3,000; and Phil Ivey continues to perform well. Here is the summary and results of the WSOP June 11, 2012.

Event # 19 - No-Limit Hold'em $ 1500 - Philippe Boucher (PhilLeDingue) finished in 15th place.
Quebecer Philippe Boucher was back among the 19 survivors of yesterday trying to add a bracelet on his wrist after his victory in the WSOP PLO in Cannes last year. Unfortunately for him, the second bracelet will have to wait as he was eliminated in 15th place. Unfortunately, he tried a "resteal" with his Q9o, but his opponent was in a strong position with pocket queens. With only 10% chance of winning this hand, PhilLeDingue could not hope for a miracle, and it was never presented. Failure to win another bracelet, he won $ 25,048.

Thereafter, the pace of the tournament was rather fast to the final table, where players were dropping like flies. It is finally Kenni Nguyen (and funny hat) and Cliff Goldkind who found themselves in the final duel. With 9.2m chips to Goldkind and 1.1m for Nguyen, the duel took airs of David against Goliath battle ... except that this time it is Goalith wins, and it will take only one hand .

Cliff Goldkind puts together hands on $ 559,514 and a WSOP bracelet.

Event # 20 - $ 5,000 Limit Hold'em - Benjamin Scholl won his first bracelet.
After 27 hours of play and thousands of minimum raises the Limit Hold'em event is over. It is finally Benjamin Scholl won the event, and now hand over $ 206,760 and a prestigious bracelets.

The day has started with 17 players and quickly, the final table was formed. This is Jeff Shulman, who began the final table as a leader, while his father (Barry Shulman) was simultaneously on the final table of Event # 19. The son was able to perform better than the father (who finished in 8th position), but it nevertheless had to give in the third position.

The final duel was only a formality, while Benjamin Scholl had a lead of 4: 1 on his opponent Andrew Prock. Prock never had been able to improve their lot and an hour and a quarter later, he put his last chips in play and the winner was crowned.

Event # 21 - No-Limit Hold'em $ 1,000 - A 34th place for Patrick Rinfret.
Three Quebecers were the lot of 222 players returning for the second day of the tournament.

Party 32nd, the day was rather short for Christopher McClung. He eventually busted out in 199th position on a bluff where, in his own words, "the other hand I was trying to say that I had."

Thereafter, Luc Campeau was removed a few hours later at 111th. $ 2,771 he earned for his performance.

Only remained more than Patrick Rinfret, who had started the 94th. The latter was able to slip in 34th before being eliminated. He can console himself with the amount of $ 10,228 he collected.

Action resumes today at 16h, Quebec time, while only 17 players. The American Jamie Armstrong is currently in first place with over 1.4 million in chips and is followed by Noah Vaillancourt at 1.2 million. Former baseball player had converted to poker, the former member of the UB.com team, Eric 'basebaldy' Baldwin, follows in 3rd place with 887,000 chips.

Event # 22 - Limit 2-7 Triple Draw lowball at $ 2500 - Final Table for Jason Lavallée.
Two Quebecers took part in the first day of competition, and both were in good position at the start of the second day when Eric Cloutier began the day in 5th place, while Jason Lavallée (BikiniWax) was 12th.
Unfortunately for Cloutier, the second day was fatal. He was eventually removed out of paying places.

The day was very different for Lavallée. He finds himself on the final table in fourth position with 232,000 chips. It will, however, face serious opponents, since three of the nine remaining players are players with more than one WSOP bracelet to their credit: Farzad Bonyadi has three (one in 2-7 Triple Draw), Josh Arieh two, and Layne Flack has seven Josh Arieh shall have much to do, since it is extremely lowstack with only 22,000 chips in front of him.

Action resumes today at 17h, Quebec time, with the following standings:
David Baker: 381,000 chips.
Benjamin Lazer: 271,000 chips.

Everything was fine until the dealer turns the river: one of the two remaining jacks thus giving a full hand than his opponent.

Other Quebecers knew all present the same fate as McClung, except Eric Finesilver. The latter is found in 128th place out of 141 players remaining. To achieve the revenue seats, it must sneak among the last 108 survivors.
