14 July 12: Bisson, Cajelais and Ladouceur still in the race!

Yesterday was held another day of play in the Main Event of the World Series!

Players who attracted our attention were of course Quebecers still in the race. As a reminder, according to our article yesterday:

16th: Erik Cajelais with 1.6 M chips (just in top of Vanessa Selbst to 15th)
74th: Marc-André Ladouceur with 903K chips
79th: Stéphane Blouin with 880K chips
158th: Stéphane Bisson alias "FouTight", a coach of BlueFirePoker, born in Ottawa, but resident currently in Montreal with 530K chips
219th Chanracy "ChanMix" Khun with 338K, despite the fact that he is very ill and that he is not at the top of its mental form!

The race unfortunately ended earlier than expected for Stéphane Blouin and ChanMix. Indeed, Stéphane came 153rd ranked to win $ 52,718 and Chanracy Khun 148 to win the same amount. Even if these two players have not reached the final table, he must nevertheless stress their feat! After all, 6.598 players registered for this tournament! Joseph Cheong that we saw on the final Main event in 2010 with Jonathan Duhamel and tables which was among leaders yesterday finished 116th ranked $ 52,718 him also!

Which means that at this stage, there is still 3 Quebecers in the race to know:

Érik Cajelais ranked 67th with 1,205,000 tokens

Stéphane Bisson in 57th place with 1,445,000 tokens

Marc-André Ladouceur with 1,480,000 tokens!

At this stage, there are still 97 players aspiring to the bracelet and all players are guaranteed a prize of $ 62,021!

The action will resume at 3 p.m. hour of Quebec today and the players will play until there are more than 27 players left. On the 7th day, players must play until there are more than 9 players left. The action will then be on pause until October 28, date on which will play the final table!

Our 3 Quebecers will therefore be to monitor today and we wish them the best of luck!
