A larger than expected crowd is presented for this last day of registration in the main event.  With 2802 inscriptions, players will have preferred Sunday than Saturday, achieving a total of 6865 inscriptions. The registration number is down from last year, but nevertheless it's the 3rd largest crowd in the history of the WSOP (there was 8773 entries in 2006; 7319 the last year). The events of black friday does not seem to have affected the participation (some projected less than 5000 entries).

Quebecers have been many also prefer this day Sunday to play their first day of the Main Event: not less than 48 Quebec players are registered. In total, so talking about 105 Quebecers who have paid $ 10,000 (a total of just over $ 1 million!) to defend the title of champion of the world of Jonathan Duhamel: after effect "Moneymaker", can we talk about the 'Duhamel effect' in Quebec?

The day was a little more difficult than the two previous days for Quebecers, while it will be claimed 18 victims among the Québec delegation.
