Event #54 - Hold'em no limit to $ 1000 - a 9th place to Sébastien Roy (Rockstar)
Stay on the final table for Sébastien Roy was of short duration. After about 1 h 20 from game, he was the first player in the final tilt table. Sébastien Roy has not played luck: first a KK who was defeated by an A5s. then on the fateful hand of day chip leader Maxim Lykov, re-launched UTG with KQs and Roy has re-raised all-in with a pair of 8 and it was quickly called by Lykov. The flop T52 was to the advantage of Sébastien 'Rockstar' Roy; an ACE on the turn added 4 outs to Lykov, who now had a draw to the suite. The River was fatal for Roy: valet came then spoil the hand of Roy and give the nut to Lykov. Sébastien 'rockstar' Roy thus finished in 9th place, for an amount of $ 53,333. It's the second final table in as many year for Roy: he finished 5th last year.

The Russian having eliminated Roy, Maxim Lykov, has taken advantage of the tokens of the latter. Although Lykov arrived 10 minutes late, he has been a solid final table and never had to look back, constantly increasing its lead.

Maxim Lykov became the third Russian to win a WSOP bracelet this year. He won $ 648 880 for his performance.

Event #55 - the players Championship $ 50,000 - another appointment to Phil Hellmuth.
Never two without three. Phil Hellmuth will be no played luck once again. After having dominated the final table of the $ 50,000 players Championship, he found himself in a duel with Rast and passed it well near add to bracelet to his record of the player with the most bracelet. At one point during the duel with Rast, Hellmuth ended up with 16 1.3 m chips against 1.8 m for Rast. But the latter did not make the easy Hellmuth festivities... and 45 minutes, it was Brian Rast who was declared the winner, winning $ 720 1,328. Brian Rast also became the first player this year to win two WSOP bracelets: he had won earlier this year in the tournament #15 (Pot-Limit Hold'Em to $ 1500).

On the side of Hellmuth, so it the 3rd time this year which he finished in 2nd place. In all likelihood, Phil Hellmuth dislodge Benjamin Lamb to player's player of the year. Benjamin Lamb was also present on the final table. Unfortunately for him, he had to pack up 8th.

As Phil Hellmuth that Benjamin Lamb can nonetheless be consoled: Benjamin Lamb won $ 201 338 Hellmuth won the only respectable $ 1 063 034.
