2011 WSOP - summary from 16 June

wsop-2011-braceletA first bracelet to Mark Radoja to the event #24, a headsup interrupted between Mike Sexton and Chris Viox in the event #25, four Quebecers in scholarships to the event #26, Daniel Negreanu spoke too fast at the event #27, four Quebecers seeking a victory to the #28 event... Here is the summary and the results of June 16 to the WSOP 2011.

Event #24 (No-Limit Hold'Em Shootout $ 5000)-victory Mark Radoja
The Ten finalists were back for the final table. Assured a scholarship of at least $ 28 447, the winner would about him pocketing $ 436 568.
In a highly charged atmosphere, it is Mark Radoja who won the victory. This is a first bracelet for Radoja, after a 3rd place in a WSOP event last year. This victory allows it to more than double his career earnings.

Event #25 (Seven Card Stud Hi - Low 8-or-better)-the headsup interrupted.
Definitely, the rule of 10 - level stop dislike. With only 2 remaining players (Mike Sexton and Chris Viox), action had to be interrupted. Indeed, a new rule States that after 10 complete levels, the tournament must end and start again the next day.
The Sexton vs duel. Oraba will therefore could not know an outcome. For the moment, Oraba is ahead of Mike Sexton (2 m chips vs. 640 k). This last attempts to raise a second WSOP bracelet. A bracelet in the same event he had won 22 years ago.

Event #26 (Hold'Em no limit - 6max $ 2500)-four Quebecers in scholarships.
It remained 4 Quebecers on the remaining 189 players and the first 126 players ensured a minimum pool $ 5235. So we can say mission accomplished: 4 Quebec (Pascal Lefrancois, René Angélil, Sean Grover and Gylbert Drolet) have all been able to survive to the bubble.
It is René Angélil who left the Quartet first, ending about just after the bubble in 120th position. He won $ 5235 for his performance.  Pascal Lefrancois (pass_72) was the second to fall in battle, in 96th place, for a purse of $ 5705.
Things were going for the better for Gylbert Drolet and Sean Grover. They reached the top50, but they have had to quickly bow then virtually back-to-back: first Gylbert Drolet in 47th place, then Sean Grover in 45th place.
There are more than 22 players. Anthony Ruberto is currently at the top, followed by Chris Moorman and Anthony Lellouche. The latter will therefore have a chance to add a third bracelet in the France.

Event #27 (Limit Hold'Em Championship $ 10,000)-Daniel Negreanu has spoken too quickly
Daniel Negreanu said after the first day of hostilities, he had a secret solution that worked. He probably spoke too fast, because the day #2 will not have him mouse. A particularly aggressive player to his left him hard life during the whole tournament, infuriating at this point Negreanu he broke his headphones after losing several pots in a row against him.
On the side of Erik Cajelais, he lived the same fate as Negreanu in being eliminated a position 15 paid places before.

Event #28 (Hold' no limit to $ 1500)-4 Quebec still alive.
Thirty Quebec participated in this popular event of Hold'Em. Unfortunately for them, most were not able to survive the first day of hostilities. Only 4 Quebecers are still in contention: Gabriel roller (rouliroul - 61st), Guillaume Rivet (SixZeros - 104th), Steven Daoust (Snowman - 175th) and Olivier Deschamps (287e).
There are only 348 players on the 2500 participants. 78 other players must be eliminated before that everyone can ensure a minimum prize pool of $ 2733.

Event #29 (10-Game Mix - 6max at $ 2500)
Two Quebec participated in this event of mixed variants: Jean-Philippe 'cpp' Piquette and Brigitte Korak. Unfortunately for them, this first day was fatal.
Only 162 of 431 entrants were able to survive this first day and action will resume today.
