Weekend was the main event of the WPT Vienna. This is the first time in its history that a WPT tournament was held in Vienna. The Main Event had a buy-in of €3,500 and consisted of two days of departure. The players started with a stack of 30,000 chips to levels of 60 minutes. The tournament was held at the Montesino Casino.
The event was broadcast and you could see each player's hidden cards. There was only a delay of 20 minutes between television broadcasting and the event. The final table of the event will be held March 29, 2011 and you can follow it in streaming on the Internet (an upcoming address will be communicated to you). Commentators will be Mike Sexton and Jesse May.
At the beginning of the Main Event, they were 260. Today, they are more than 34 (perhaps not less than the time you read these lines). A PokerCollectif player (aka Pascal Lefrancois aka the guy in chest Pass) is always present.
