June 19'12: good performance of Cajelais, Driscoll, McClung and Ladouceur!

Event #33 No Limit Hold'em ($1000) - Max Steinberg won the bracelet!

Yesterday, when the action resumed, it remained only 14 players in this tournament. All vied for the bracelet and $ 440,228. The final duel took place between Switzerland Samuel Gerber and American Max Steinberg. The last hand had League when Steinberg had four times the tokens of his opponent on a 4-3-K flop. Gerber pushed all-in with his small pair (T4) and Steinberg called with TT. The turn and River were bricks to give the victory to Steinberg!

Steinberg won his 1st career bracelet and her 4th award in the WSOP tournaments! This award boosted his career tournament earnings total $ 811,048!


Event #34 of Pot-Limit Omaha / 6max ($5000) - Sam Chartier is eliminated 32nd

In this PLO tournament, some Quebecers had taken seat, but only one managed to cross the day #1, i.e. Sam Chartier who was still in the race yesterday. Sam race however stopped at ranked 32nd. For this performance, he still won a scholarship of $ 11,481.

David Benyamine who was leader in chips before the start of the day yesterday finished ranked 14th for a scholarship of 20,579. When the action resumes today, it will remain 11 players, all insured a scholarship of $ 26,349! The winner will Win $ 512,029

Event #35 Mixed Hold'em ($2500) - Cajelais still in the race!

A single Quebecer was still in the race in this tournament Hold'em and Hold' em no limit, i.e. Erik Cajelais! Good news, Cajelais is still in the race and has reached the final table with (guess who), Phil Ivey, who adds a fifth final table to its series of WSOP events in 2012! Phil may not have won his bet to get your hands on a bracelet in 2012, but strength is to admit that it is really impressive. Ivey is 7th in chips with 169,000 and Cajelais 4th with 383,000. The leader is Joep van den Bijgaart with 605,000 chips.

All players are currently guaranteed to make $ 16,692 and the winner of this tournament will win $ 210,107. We will obviously follow the finals of this tournament today!

Event #36 of No Limit Hold'em (shootout limited to 2000 entries) - Driscoll and Ladouceur access in the 2nd round!

It is finally 587 participants who took part in this tournament, including a few Quebecers: Jonathan "Da_Engineer" Driscoll, Marc-André Ladouceur, Marc-Étienne "Général Irish" McLaughlin. Among the 3 players, Jonathan and Marc-André will proceed to the next round. They are therefore at present insured for a value of $ 9,086! If they won their next table, they will be assured a scholarship of 22,899, and can win up to $ 368,593 in closing 1.

At this stage, there are 60 players still in the race!

Event #37 Eight Game Mixed ($2500) - D0r1t0s among the leaders!

477 players are entered in this tournament of eight Game Mixed with Jonathan Duhamel, Sean Grover, Christopher "D0r1t0s" McClung, Darren Miller and Jean-Philippe "JPP" Piquette.

477 players, there is more than 209 including Sean Grover in 144th position with 11,250 tokens and Christopher McClung with the eighth pick with 38,000 chips, that is relatively close to the guard, Dan Kelly who was 56,800 tokens!

We will therefore follow this tournament very closely today! Noton also the presence of Daniel Negreanu in the tournament now 74th ranked with 19,575 tokens!

The winner of this tournament will put hand over $ 271,312
