We talked about you instead of Grudge Matches, these events which relive the epic duels of years spent at the WSOP. Yesterday was held the duel Johnny Chan-Phil Hellmuth.

22 years later, it is Chan who had reason on Hellmuth in the famous duel which had opposed them for the prestigious World Series of Poker bracelet.
That year, Hellmuth became the youngest player to win the Main Event at the age of 24.

On the last hand, Hellmuth, shortstack, pushing all-in with KTo and Chan is a very standard call with 88. The board falls 3 - 5 - 9-J-9 and give the best hand to Chan who will probably mark the end of the beautiful Hellmuth (even if it is no longer the best player of tournament that is, it has all the same yet 11 bracelets, what is respectable)!

The another duel between Chris Moneymaker Sammy Farha. Unlike the duel between Chan and Hellmuth, the remake of the 2003 final played in three rounds. In the first round, both players had the same number of chips in 2003. Chris Moneymaker won this round and the third. In the 2nd inning, Moneymaker had chips that Farha and vice versa, allowing Farha to enjoy his lead and win the round. In the third inning, Moneymaker had the number of chips he had in 2003 and eliminated Farha with KJ vs KT of Sammy on a J2T62 board.

With this victory, Moneymaker won $ 50,000 and symbolically retains his title of 2003.

The third is last duel oppose new Johnny Chan, but this time, none other than Erik Seidel.
