Yadio on the Sunday Million final table

yann-dion-yadio-pokerstars-sunday-million.jpgVery nice performance for the Québécois Yann Dion on this Sunday of halloween!

Indeed, Yadio dominated a good part of the tournament during the Sunday Million on PokerStars. With 45 players remaining, Yadio lorded over as chip leader... and he managed to keep this title almost all the time until the final table. With less than 20 players remaining, his lead was such that his closest pursuer was twice less chips than him!

Once arrived on the final table, he kept the position of head until the 2 shortstacks are eliminated. Despite the lack of good maps for him, he was able to take advantage of good situations to swell his stack to 22 m (his closest pursuer was barely 12 m), thanks to a bluff with AJ on a 3-7-T board. It has check-raisé in bluff two opponents and won the pot. Everything seemed to go like clockwork for Yadio.

Then, while Yadio was SB, everyone has folde until button (SeraphimV) making a recovery. Yadio with a 78, pushed all in face to this revival of the button. The BB has folde, and the button called with AKo. The flop A-8-T improved the hand of Yadio, but also that of SeraphimV.

6 of the 7 players with virtually the same carpet (2bb or 3bb closely), the tournament became extremely crapshot. These players were all approximately 10 m in chips with blinds at 300 k / 600 k. The chip leader, he had 16 m. Some already asked a deal, without success.

Then, it was again SeraphimV who did evil to Yadio. This time, Yadio has directly push preflop with CQA. Yadio blind flight seemed to work, until SeraphimV calls the relaunch of Yadio with AK. The board improved the hand of any of the two players, but the kicker of SeraphimV was sufficient to eliminate Yadio. Yann Dion thus finished in 7th position and reaps $ 34,000. Yann also won $ 56,000 in July at the 300 k guaranteed on Pokerstars, as well as $ 39,000 in August when the 500 Sunday (also on PokerStars)

Congratulations Yadio for your 7th place... knowing full well that victory is that game postponed in your case! :)
