Player profile: Joe Cada

As several other aspiring pros Joe Cada soon realized that college was not for him. A native of Shelby in Michigan, Cada saw more seriously the possibility of becoming a poker pro player having started the school in the community of Macomb. And like all the other young people, Cada found the difficult transition even though it was turned to something much more lucrative. Some time later, it will become an official member of the "November Nine" of the World Series of Poker 2009.

July 15, Joe Cada won a seat to the final table of the WSOP that will continue on November 7. 6494 players entered the Main Event this year and 9 of them are still alive. Cada is already assured a scholarship from 1,263,602$. On the other hand, it is on the 8,546,435$ stock exchange and on the strap that comes with that it will be watching when the action resumes in November.

Cada spends most of his time playing for cash games. His appearance this year is the first since he just turned 21 years old. He made 2 scholarships before the Main Event. He finished 64th in the Event 13 ($2,500 No Limit Hold em) for $ 6,681 and 17th in Event # 34 ($1,500 No Limit Hold em) for $21,533. Although it was chip leader for a while in the #34 Event, Joe Cada was eliminated by Team PokerStars Bertrand ElkY Grospellier pro when Grospellier struck a "two-outer" against him on the river.

But this story has quickly be forgotten. After completing the day 1 c of the Main Event with a considerable advantage in chips, he said to his friend Justin Pechie looshle, I finally got my 'run-good"after this hand against ElkY. He may be able to do more than what the grand Grospellier has already accomplished by winning the Main Event in November.

Joe Cada will enter the final table fifth in chips with 13,215,000. He did a big game on day 8 to double his stack after losing lots of chips against Jamie Robbins, when his pair of ACEs has been beaten by the pair of ten of Robbins. The loss of this pot has not slowed the fervour of Joe to attack the players at his table. Joe Cada was one of the most active players at his table and has same "played back" Phil Ivey then that the final table was approaching.
One thing is certain: Joe Cada will always be part of the history of poker when he will take his seat on November 7 for the "November Nine".
