A few new details on season 7 of Poker After Dark

poker_after_dark_railbird_heaven.jpgPoker After Dark (PAD) will be in his 7th season as early as 2011. The official date has been announced: the series will begin January 3 and will take place over 13 weeks.

The series now airs on NBC until 2014 after which the contract should be renegotiated.

This year, the parties copmrendront of the Hold'em No limits as to the usual, the Hold em limit and pot limit Omaha which will be a novelty.

The first week (titled Wish List), Phil Hellmuth, Mike Matusow, Jennifer Harman, Erica Schoenberg and Chris Ferguson will compete in a sitNgo $ 20,000. In the second week (titled Idol Week) Eric Baldwin, Tom Dwan, Andrew Lichtenberger, Annette Obrestad and Melanie Weisner will compete in a sitNgo $ 50,000. For the third week (titled Big Heat), Tom Dwan, Phil Ivey, Phil Galfond, John Juanda, Erick Lindgren and Huck Seed will face off in a sitNgo $ 100,000. For these sitNgo, there will be only a single Exchange (format winner takes all).

For 10 upcoming episodes, we will have right to a cash games of Hold'em limit Hold' em no limit and pot limit Omaha. Limit Hold'em with minimum buy-in of $ 100,000. For this part, Brandon Adams, Mike Matusow, Chris Ferguson, Michael Mizrachi, Peter Jetten, Jean-Robert Bellande and Phil Hellmuth will be present.
