Black Friday: finding the Lederer case civil

Howard Lederer, shareholder and member of the Board of Directors of Tiltware LLC and one of the main actors in the folder of the Black friday, recently settled his case with the U.S. Attorneys Office, southern district of New York.

Recall that Lederer had been charged with other initiates civil during Black Friday. Several crimes were attributed to him, including those of conspiracy to commit bank fraud, fraud electronics and conspiracy with the purpose of money laundering.

The complaint against Lederer had been filed in September 2012 after being accused of fraud to the tune of 330 million dollars U.S., money which belonged to all Full Tilt Poker players. This money was supposed to be safe and accessible at all times, which as will be recalled, was not the case.

During his tenure at Full Tilt Poker, Lederer received 42 million in shares, profits, and other. The complaint asked that Lederer repays $ 42.5 million.

Following this complaint, Lederer has denied the accusations, made a request for dismissal of all charges and allegations.

In summary, Lederer said that Full Tilt Poker was a legitimate company dated as of April 15, 2011, date of Black Friday. He also claims that he was not aware of the reprehensible acts of this company and he admits no fault.

Lederer accepts all the same to renounce many of its assets which (this list is not exhaustive):

-All funds in the account from Lloyds TSB International located in the Isle of Man (unknown amount)

-All available funds at LPL Financial Accounts

-A car Shelby Cobra 1965

-Its property located at 309 Kingsclear in Las Vegas

-$ 30,000 resulting from the sale of his ownership of the Fawn Way Chase 5426

-Also Lederer is committed to immediately liquidate all funds and other assets in its other Lloyds accounts which have an approximate value of $ 168,000.

Lederer also agrees to pay a penalty of 1, 25 M$ for money laundering, without so far admit its responsibility. Lederer has 3 days to pay this debt to the United States.

Lederer accepts also do not work and do not pull money from any company that operates online gaming in the United States, including companies offering the game online in the United States. If ever online poker became legal in the United States, Lederer should contact the proper authorities and obtain their permission before working in this field.

In addition to the foregoing, the Government had requested that the residence main Lederer on the Hawk Ridge walk either confiscated, as well as 3 bank accounts in his name at Wells Fargo. This money would come from the activities of Full Tilt Poker.

What is Chris Ferguson folder, it should be paid before February 18, 2013. Rafe Furst in turn saw his rule case last month. About the Ray Bitar folder, it is still pending.

Some sources indicate that Lederer had organized a party recently with his wife and 150 friends.
