Bovada loses 1 M$ last UFC Fight Night

Bovada (formerly Bodog) is well-known to poker players. Not only can play poker, but this platform includes a casino and a sports betting section.

Bovada lost 1 M$ (or almost) the last Gala of mixed martial arts, UFC (Ultimate Fighter Championship). During the gala, which featured former heavyweight in the UFC, Frank Mir champion and one of the best fighters of the former Strikeforce association, Antonio "Bigfoot" Silva.

During this fight, Silva was favourite to win. However, in a few seconds only, he made himself put KO by Mir.

A favorite fighter who loses, it has nothing exceptional. But when 10 of the 11 fighters underdog win, it is another story. And that's what happened Sunday last in Porto Alegre to the Brazil.

And Bovoda is not only losing. Kevin Bradley, Manager of the sports betting at Bovada section, explained to ESPN.com: "we had dozens of payments to $ 10,000 and more." We don't see him again money from these players. This type of bettors wager on all Favorites or the underdogs and attempt to become Ramadan. Well, I imagine that it worked".

The website Sportsbet.com.au Twitter 3 punters on their site had won larger amounts from small investments.

$ 15 turned into $109K, $ 2 turned into $55K and $ 5 has turned into $139K.

On some other sites, a parlay (so a player wins his parlay, it must predict the end of 2 or more fighting and all results must be good) $ 100 8 underdogs gave a gain of $ 6. 3 m.

The sum is hypothetical since several sites have limits of payments. That is, if the payment of the earnings limit is 150 k $ and you have won $ 6. 3 m, you'll be credited with $150K only. But it has not prevented to dream more than on social media.

Too bad that the machine to travel back in time does not yet exist.

And you, you bet at this gala? Have you seen just?
