Gus Hansen thinks away the poker

PokerListing interview recently, Gus Hansen informs that he thinks away the poker for a moment. As known, for several years already, Gus has been much more of him for its colossal losses poker for his exploits. Over the past years, he would have lost more than 16 M$.

He explains: "well to tell the truth, at this moment, I really don't see things in a positive way, I'll tell you! I still experienced a losing session last night. Should I sleep and I do a little exercise. It's been a while since I'm on a negative series, must be watching something other than results and see instead how to handle me and how to play. I have many digging and find a way to overcome all that. This may mean a long pause, away from poker, just for cleaning me the spirit."

In this same interview he confesses not to use tracker when he plays as Hold'em Manager and do not to know in this area. He explains: "I do not know very little indeed about Holdem Manager and Poker Tracker, but I should probably lean me on".

Perhaps could this tool help him a bit during its next parts, who knows?

Gus Hansen, Poker and backgammon player

In addition to being a poker player, Hansen is also a backgammon player, game in which he would have earned several million dollars. At the EPT Grand Final, he would have even missed the day number 2 of the tournament to concentrate on a game of backgammon high limits.

He explains: "in the Grand Final, there indeed was a game of high stakes backgammon, and yes there are still here or there. At this time, I earned an amount 7 digits, and then I reperdais behind.
I'm trying to make my source of income, but the problem is that at some point I can no longer compensate for my loss. And then there's not many players who can afford to play for so much money".

Back on the right track?

Even if Hansen is far from having paid off his "downswing" with one of its sessions in the week passed, he still won $ 980,637 in 4284 hands. Is it just a good session or the beginning of a new Gus Hansen? The coming weeks will tell us.
