Negotiations continue between Tapie and the DoJ + ambitious project for the Group Tapie

Stade
A few days ago, rumors wanted negotiations between Bernard Tapie (representing the French investors) and the DoJ had ceased.

This rumor was contradicted yesterday by Jeff Ifrah, a lawyer of Full Tilt Poker. The DoJ is in talks with the Group Bernard Tapie for two weeks and they continue at this time.

According to these negotiations, players with a lot of money on Full Tilt Poker could receive shares in the company rather than money. The question of what they mean by "a lot" has not been specified. Actions, according to the latest new, are not voting shares. Other details of this new have not yet been given.

These negotiations are very important given that everything rests on them. The future of FTP may be possible if the negotiations between Tapie and the DoJ are not progressing.

For the moment, it is difficult to know more because (obviously), these discussions are closed.

An ambitious project for the Group Tapie

Speaking of Bernard Tapie, there these days a pretty ambitious project for the future: that organize the largest poker tournament in the most prestigious stages in the world.

With Prosper Masquelier, the founder of the site PokerXtrem.fr, Laurent Tapie promises to organize «biggest poker event» all time According to him, the lease agreement with Wembley Stadium was signed September 16, 2011. Between 20 000 and 30 000 players are expected for this tournament (is this possible?).

East - this naive to believe that so many players are going to participate in this tournament? The group guaranteed Tapie 30 M$ for this tournament, which is expected to convince many to participate. If this tournament takes place, it will be the biggest live tournament in the history of poker.

For the first edition, Bernard Tapie Group chose London and its all-new Wembley Stadium. The precise date of the tournament will be announced next month, once the dates of the England football team matches will have been set.

The buy-in for this tournament should be $ 1500.

We said above that it was a live tournament in the sense that people will be present at the same place at the same time, but people will play against another with a tablet. Errors in this kind of tournament and where there is so much money at stake will be unforgivable.

Wacky? Ambitious, but feasible? The future will tell us.
