Phil Ivey launches iveypoker.com

Yesterday, Greg Merson (winner of a WSOP bracelet in 2012. for finishing 1st event 6max $ 10,000 and one of 9 survivors of the 2012 Main Event) announced on Twitter that he was pleased to be involved in a new project of a new website named "Iveypoker.com". For now, the site is quite limited; a homepage with a picture of Phil Ivey and a registration form. In other words, to date, still no information not tells us the purpose of the site. Will it be a coaching site, a new game room or will it be something completely new? It is still difficult to say.

Kevmath on Twoplustwo forums is hypothesized from the launch next an application for smart phones, "with probably as much involvement on the part of Phil on his Facebook and Twitter pages". Those who follow Ivey on Twitter will have noticed here that Kevmath made irony since Ivey is not the biggest twitteur in the history of the Twitterers.

Intrigued by the partnership with Greg Merson and the slogan "It's More Fun When You Win" site, other Internet looking instead for the idea of a future coaching platform (which in our opinion would be surprising).

The form to fill out asks us, more standard issues such as our personal information, the platform on which we play and the device that we use to play poker (PC, Mac, iPhone, etc). What does this mean?

Other issues are still like to know if Phil Ivey will continue to play on Full Tilt Poker tables when the site will be reopened next November?

PokerCollectif will let know you the details when they become available. Case to follow...
