The regulars of this show will probably be happy to learn that the NBC Sports Network will present, starting March 5, 24 new episodes of the show Poker After Dark. The show, as usual, will be moderated by Leeann Tweeden.La new was announced by the producer of the show, Mori Eskandani, who announces 20 new episodes and four reruns.

These episodes have been recorded in December 2010 and produced by Poker Productions society. On the menu: cash games and sit' n'go. The first episode will be a replay of the sit' n'go had played Phil Galfond, Tom Dwan, John Juanda, Erick Lindgren, Huck Seed and Phil Ivey. The buy-in of this sit' n'go was $ 100,000.

In the past, the show was sponsored by Full Tilt Poker (note the number of pros FTP this program), but things should obviously change. To date, there is no sponsor (following a request of NBC).

Who will participate in the cash games upcoming? All the big names to which you are accustomed: Patrik Antonius, Phil Ivey, Tom Dwan, Eli Elezra, David Oppenheim, Phil Hellmuth, Andy Bloch, Justin Smith and also Annette Obrestad - she has never seen play cash game but it will be this year.

In an interview, the producer Mori Eskandani explains why the show Poker After Dark has been suspended so long:

"The last episode aired dates back to last September. With Black Friday and the indictment issued against Full Tilt Poker, former sponsor of the show, the clouds will result and say that broadcasters have been shriveled. But everything will soon fall into the order. Poker After Dark returns without sponsor, it is a request of NBC. There will be more logo trademark at the table and players will be without another sponsor but themselves."
