Reopening of FTP: things are moving with great strides!

A job offer has been posted on the website of the Department of Justice of United States looking for an administrator to claim capable of managing the process of reimbursement of former US players from Full Tilt Poker.

It is thus that the process has begun! 1.3 million Americans that have funds stuck on FTP will be able make the request! Therefore, 159 million dollars which will be given to those players. It is still unclear how to work the repayment of US players, but we're on the good voice. The way forward for Americans with funds blocked on FTP should be indicated within the coming months in all likelihood!

When it comes to 184 millions of dollars that FTP must the rest of players from outside United States (the rest of the world), PokerStars will reimburse players before November 6.

With regard to the job tasks, the offer specifies:

"[The candidate] shall create and implement a process to solicit, receive and evaluate claims, make payment of the losses suffered by the victims of the USA that are attributable to the alleged fraud".

The rest of the announcement indicates that candidates have two weeks to apply for the burden of "creating the process" refund, we will therefore know nothing more before the month of September.

"To make these payments, the administrator will get information from applicants, and assess will analyse the data contained in the records of Auditors of Full Tilt Poker.

All parties interested in the position of the claims administrator must apply for membership before August 31. This probably means that we will be forced to wait several extra weeks until remission process information to be made public."
