WSOP 2014: Several poker players stolen from their room

This week marked the start of the 2014 WSOP at the Rio All-Suite Las Vegas Hotel and Casino, to the delight of fans of poker. Several Québécois and members of our community will blow so to Las Vegas to play one or several tournaments at this prestigious series.

But before leaving for Vegas, PokerCollectif would like to warn against the flight. In the past 24 hours, not less than 3 players of poker was stolen. Among the things that these players were stealing money, their laptops and their wallet.

The first person to have reported being fly is Lauri Pesonen. On Twitter, it says: "my laptop and that of @Jouhkb have been stolen in my room at the Rio. Everything else (wallet, iPad, etc) is in place. Yet an EPT Barcelona?"

A few hours later, Manh Nguyen reported a similar incident: "is it just really happen to me? "Wake up, please, wake up".

A little later, he said: "Attention to poker players; a large sum of money comes from me be stolen from my room at the Rio last night".

15 hours later, Joni Jouhkimainen confirmed that it was him also makes it fly.

These flights recall flights there to EPT Barcelona.

For the moment, we have no more details regarding this matter, but we invite you to be very careful with your valuables when you are on-site.

If we get more details in this case, we will communicate them as soon as possible.
