RUMORS: Khan, Griffin and Eastgate would no longer parties to the Team PokerStars Pro

Rumors say Hevad Khan, Gavin Griffin and Peter Eastgate would no longer parties in the Team PokerStars Pro.

With WCOOP during several discussion forums as TwoPlusTwo raised the fact that some members of the pro team were missing. It does not take more to start the rumor mill!

Gavin Griffin:

gavin-griffin-team-pro-pokerstars.jpg Gavin Griffin's face is still among the thumbnails of all the players on Team PokerStars.net Pro, but it is now found when looking at the list of pros of Team USA. Gavin Griffin became the first winner of the triple crown after winning a WSOP event (2004), WPT (2008) and EFA (2007). Since 2009, in addition to 3rd place at the California State Poker Championship, he had a few good results, do not really have time television and has made little moneyfinish.

Kevad Khan:

Khan's side, he burst onto the poker scene in the 2007 Main Event. He noted by, among others, his King Kong Dance of victory at the final table in 2007 where he finished in 6th place.

Khan had subsequently won the Caesars Palace Classic at the end of 2008 and the preliminary event of the PCA in 2009. He has managed to put in charge places since June 2009.

Peter Eastgate:

Side of Eastgate, who won the Main Event in 2008, he could also no longer be part of Team PokerStars Pro after his announcement as what he would retire from poker. Eastgate had announced it a few months ago that his goal was never to live poker as a professional. It announced that it had lost all motivation to play at a high level and it was now time for him to find what he wanted to do with his life.

A lack of results?

In the case of Eastgate, its withdrawal from the Team Pro makes sense since he did not intend to replay poker at the moment. In the case of Khan and Griffin, if this rumor is true, is that the lack of results since 2009 have been linked to the end of their collaboration with PokerStars? At least, more and more players think these two players do not have what it takes to perform in the world of poker in the long term, especially in the current environment where players have improved dramatically in a short lap time.

Also, increasingly, PokerStars away from the U.S. market by hiring members of other countries and organizing tournaments in Asia, Europe, Latin America and Australia / New Zealand.
