Rumor: The Merge network will temporarily ban the Americans

One of the winners of this story is undoubtedly the Merge network, which has seen its traffic double relation at the beginning of the year 2011. But while the network has the wind in its sails, a rumor says that the Merge network could, tomorrow, stop accepting registrations of new US players. The reason? The Merge network customer service is simply overwhelmed: they have a delay of two weeks on the customer service response time, and an equally important delay in the level of withdrawals pending.

US players the "Big 3" having just retired to one of the last possible alternatives for playing poker online, the Merge network was simply unprepared to the influx of new players so much.  The directive will only affect entries of new US players. US players already registered on the site will not be affected by this decision.

For the moment, it is not possible to know if this ban will affect all the the Merge network, or only the rooms that use support and fund the network.

The ban is expected to last about a month, but may extend longer. Meanwhile, many network cinemas are angry against Merge Poker Network and its main site, Carbon Poker, which is managed by the network: the network seems to privileged treatment of requests for withdrawals made via CarbonPoker rather than other skins, which makes lifting the grumbling among the various operators.
