The party of the two brothers was interrupted by a hasty manner by... an explosion caused by the lighter that one of the 2 brothers used to light their pipe (bong).
One of the brothers was rushed to the hospital with injuries and the 2nd degree burns and the other brother had to go stay in prison.
Before the explosion, one of the brothers had gone to the kitchen to fill butane torch that allowed them to ignite. During this manoeuvre, butane has evaporated and joined the pilot of the furnace, which caused the explosion. The burned man was driven to the hospital by his girlfriend.
When the police (with a mandate) arrived on scene, they interviewed the other brother who admitted possessing marijuana and methamphetamines. Following the confession, he was arrested.
The neighbor who shares a duplex with the two brothers told the authorities that her home vibrated completely during the explosion. She continued to joke: "They were not quick to make a party".
Some media laughed at the two brothers later in nicknaming them the 'dumb and dumber'.
