BetClic says the decision by the ARJEL

As a reminder, BetClic who lost 50 million euros in 2010 and 2011, was pursued by the regulatory authority of the games (ARJEL) online about contentious player accounts.

BetClic explains these important monetary losses by "the conditions for opening up the french market, and including a particularly heavy taxation." We learn also that the redemption of Everest resulted in significant costs to be taken into account when analysing these losses.

BetClic has therefore not been punished by the Arjel who was investigating since December 2010 on the site of sporting bets. Remaining grievances questioned the closing then reopening of disputed accounts of players.

The decision of the ARJEL June 7.

In a press release, BetClic says:

"After the abandonment of two four grievances addressed by BetClic by the ARJEL and consecutive very clear decision of the Commission of the Sanctions exempting any sanction BetClic, we wish to challenge the amalgam that is made in the interpretation of the appeal before the Council of State announced by the ARJEL. The complaints investigated by the Commission of Sanctions concerned a lack of archiving in the safe of certain data pertaining to a small minority number of players accounts between June 8, 2010, in the evening and June 11, 2010 in the morning period coinciding with the operational opening of BetClic after obtaining his status of June 7, 2010. If data had been well archived in accordance with the regulations, a computer malfunction had blocked the flow of information into the called front sensor, preventing the inclusion of data in the safe. »

Further: "so that this dysfunction was immediately corrected and despite the technical and administrative justification demonstrating compliance with the legal requirements by BetClic, we cannot observe and deplore the persistence of amalgam accusing Betclick's transfer of accounts. This allegation is based on unfounded and is supported by no grievance. »
