FTP hearing will not be open to the public

WARNING009
The Alderney Gambling Control Commission (AGCC) announced last Monday that the hearing concerning the suspension of the licence for Full Tilt Poker will not be open to the public and that it be held in camera.
André Wilsenach, Director Executive of the AGCC said that he is obviously disappointed with this decision. He comments [adaptation of English by PokerCollectif]: "I am happy to know that the hearing regarding the licence for Full Tilt Poker will take place on the scheduled date, but I am really disappointed by the decision of the tribunal to make a meeting behind closed doors. No matter what I could say and even if I do not agree with the decision, this meeting will still be League in private."

He continued: "I believe that the public has a right to know the reasons that make the FTP licence has been suspended. It also has the right to hear the evidence which will be filed at the hearing".

He concludes: "I know that the tribunal was a difficult decision to take while he had to weigh the pros and cons of a public hearing for the various parties. Obviously, some parties want it to be behind closed doors so that other parties prefer that it is public".

Other information should be communicated to us as soon as possible.

The hearing will take place as planned on September 19 next at 9:00 at the Riverbank Park Plaza Hotel located in London. PokerCollectif will obviously be riveted eyes (figuratively of course, seen developments) on this hearing and you will provide as soon as possible all the necessary information.
