Reminder: The ban of Canadian to play on the Boss Media network begins today

canadiens_interdit_sur_boss_media.jpgQuick reminder following our article of August 18 concerning the prohibition to play on the sites of the Boss Media network for Canadians.

Indeed, this prohibition comes into force today at 23:59 GMT. It concerns all the sites of the Boss Media, including FortunePoker, OPoker, Paradise Poker, PokerHeaven, PokerKings network and the sponsor of Isabelle Mercier site: Betclic.

GTECH, designer of the online game software, which will be offered to the inhabitants of Quebec, British Colombia, and the Atlantic provinces, operates the well known network 'Boss Media'.The prohibition would result from the contract between Gtech and these provinces.

Ontario, Manitoba, Alberta, Saskatchewan and the inhabitants of the territories (which make up 60% of the population of the Canada) have what rager: they will have access to the Boss Media network, nor access to poker network which will be launched shortly by Loto-Québec, the BCLC and als.

If you have money on the Boss Media network site, you should remove it as soon as possible in order to avoid any delay. If the site on which you play a minimum withdrawal amount and you do not have sufficient funds to withdraw your money, call as soon as possible with them so that they can perform this withdrawal. If you are funds remaining and that no action is taken on your part before October 25, they will first try to refund you via the method that you have filed and, if this is not possible, your funds will be send to the LGA. You need to act as quickly and request your withdrawal!
