The Safe and Secure Internet Gambling Initiative launches a new website

The Organization Safe and Secure Internet Gambling Initiative (SSIGI) has launched a new website recently (http://www.safeandsecureig.org).

The organization is involved in the battle for the preservation of the rights of online poker players in the United States. The spokesman for the SSIGI informed us: "the development of the new website is for us a very important thing in our approach to inform and educate our target audience. We need that those who take the decisions include the benefits of new regulations that we are proposing." He added: "We also need people to add their voice to ours. They can also ask different actions, such as to send emails to members of Congress to make a difference."

The homepage of the site resembles that of the Poker Players Alliance. The site also includes a warning centre which will keep you informed of any new development, special access to the wire feeds and the ability to invite friends to insert a banner on any site. Finally, the site includes schedule of the "Chamber of representatives and of the senators' American of the day in court.

The SSIGI headquarters is located in Washington, D.C. and is supported by a variety of industries, including the UC Group, Baker Tilly, eCOGRA, SecureTrading, the Remote Gambling Association, GamCare, and the European Gaming and Betting Association. The organization uses Facebook, Twitter and YouTube to disseminate its contents and focuses on the protection of children relatively content online, speaking of gambling, secure transactions, new revenue possible from the Government and international ramifications.

The SSIGI so that the entire industry is now waiting for a possible new regulation on gambling online by the Member of Congress Barney Frank.
