USA Poker: Online Poker legal in Delaware

Last February, PokerCollectif you announced that online poker was finally becoming legal in Nevada.

Among the operators to work in Nevada, note the absence of the PokerStars giant who, as have explained you, was used as a "bad actor". For this reason, PokerStars is unable to offer online poker before 5 years. Many had suggested that the license fee for PokerStars may be manufacture 1 m $ (rather than the $ 500,000 usual), but this proposal was ultimately rejected.

A new player: Delaware

Following the example of Nevada, it is the turn of Delaware to offer poker online to its citizens. In addition to poker, there will also be of blackjack and slot machines. All is available since November 8.

A little later in the month (the date is November 26), New Jersey will follow the example of Nevada and Delaware. And as stated above, PokerStars will not be among the operators.

Delaware becomes the second U.S. State to offer the online poker to its citizens, but the first to offer casinos, lotteries and blackjack games.
Three casinos are currently in operation: Delaware Park, Dover Downs and Harrington Raceway, who use the platform provided by 888 Holdings. Among the features of online poker at Delaware, there is also the "face2face poker", which allows players to see their opponents in real time using their webcam.
To play on these rooms, you must be a permanent resident and, for safety, you will need to provide your social security number to be certain not to bypass the system (via a proxy, for example).

In closing, it is also on 08 November the Division of Gaming Enforcement (DGE) of New Jersey has published the list of companies that will be allowed to offer the online game on 26 November in New Jersey. These include: Caesars Interactive Entertainment, bwin.party, 888, Ultimate Poker, Betfair and Amaya Gaming.
The pre-launch will take place on 21 November.

What look do you see this new? It goes to the right direction or you think it is a bad idea to separate the basins of players by State as is the case at this time?
