The Full Tilt Poker licence is suspended!

The Alderney Gambling Control Commission (AGCC) suspended the licence for Full Tilt Poker early this morning. The room operations are thus suspended and it is now impossible to connect to the FTP software.

The AGCC said in a press release this morning:

"The decision to suspend these permits follows a special inquiry initiated following the charges laid by the office of the Attorney General of United States on 15 April last, during which we discovered that FTP and their business associates had operated against the legislation of Alderney."

 


Andre Wilsenach, the Executive Director of the Alderney Gambling Control Commission, said:
"The decision to suspend the Full Tilt Poker eGambling licences was taken in the public interest and, due to the urgency and the seriousness of this case, we had to take immediate action before the hearing of Full Tilt Poker"

For the moment, players who have funds on Full Tilt Poker are taken hostage and expect more. It is now forbidden for Full Tilt Poker of:
-Register new customers,
-Accept new deposits from existing customers,
-Enable existing customers to withdraw funds,.
-Allow customers to participate in any form of game or game transaction.

Full Tilt Poker hearing is planned for the... July 26, 2011.

Moneybookers announced it ceased immediately at Full Tilt Poker to use their service for the withdrawals and deposits. This decision had been taken for a few days, and was to be announced Monday. Today's events have made sure to precipitate this advert.

Here is a chronology of the events:
5h45am: Full Tilt Poker Licence suspended.
6h25am: Full Tilt Poker closes real money tables.
6h30am: the site of FullTiltPoker.com is inaccesible
6h35am: FullTiltPoker.com is again accessible, displaying a simple "Ongoing Maintenance".
9: Moneybookers announces that it ceases to offer their services to Full Tilt Poker.
9h45am: the logos of the AGCC, Moneybookers, Visa, MasterCard, etc., disappear from the FullTiltPoker.com website
9h50am: A rumor indicates that FullTiltPoker will reopen its activities within a few hours and operate without a license.
am: meeting people to the ARJEL on tilt. Site licence in France is also inaccessible. A release should be done tomorrow.
11h45am: Isle of Man Gambling Supervision Commission sends a release like what the status of the license for PokerStars remains unchanged, indicating that Alderney is a different jurisdiction than Isle of Man.
14.00: the ARJEL president has warned FullTiltPoker solutions technical without delay, otherwise they will have to suffer the consequences.
