Opinion: The LTPQ take us for cellars?

A chronicle of Sebasdess opinion

The LTPQ take us for cellars?

The question is relevant. Pierre Martel and André Boyer are betting that people have a handle in the back. And say that some players will fall perhaps in the Panel and that some tenants of bars willing to sell their souls to sell a few extra beer bottles will again join in people without scruple.

Indeed, the Boyer/Martel duo continues to employ the same ploy. It is also very simple: by creating multiple companies, the Group of André Boyer and Pierre Martel can thus move easily from one company to the other funds and quickly drain these companies when they are facing financial difficulties or when they do not meet their obligations. This was the case particularly management PoCoeur Media, the company behind the "Poker Royale" magazine. PokerCollectif was able to get their hands on the judgment against PoCoeur Media: after losing against Vertex Studio for unpaid accounts, money has suddenly disappeared from the bank accounts of the company and the magazine workers will never finally paid.

Then, while Gestion Poker Tour claimed a default in payment of EspaceJeux for not submitting the prizes promised as part of the LTPQ (prizes won well before the association with EspaceJeux in March 2011), this is of the Martel/Boyer duo re-offending. Indeed, barely a week after receiving a notice of $ 175,000 on the part of EspaceJeux, everything suggests that Pierre Martel and André Boyer were already preparing their new project: a free poker League. Incorporating the concept of the LTPQ, ClubPokerQuebec.com issued, on July 21, the records of the private site. A search in the archives however allows us to identify Pierre Martel as the person having registered "ClubPokerQuebec.com". (See here: http://www.who.is/domain_archive-com/clubpokerquebec.com/)

How can we take the players of poker for idiots? It is beyond me to see two crooks each time escape justice, hidden under the corporate veil of their many companies. Collecting money from the tenants of bars (, who benefit from an increase in their goodwill and, thus, increased profits by the sale of alcohol on their premises), the folks behind the LTPQ defraud the players to blow $ 2 at a time. Not complaining: after all, it is only $ 2... but in the meantime, the players are promising prizes that do not exist and poker image continues to be tarnished by unscrupulous fraudsters. The big losers: all poker players who see their favorite activity yet be associated with fraud.

When you are asked to pay your $ 20 entry to ClubPokerQuebec, you do not take. I recommend you to keep this $ 20 for you and not participate in any free tournament of the ClubPokerQuebec. I also recommend you to part in bar keepers participating in this League, or even of all simply boycott the participating bars in ClubPokerQuebec.

Let us agree to defraud, even for small amounts. Because during this time, individuals like Pierre Martel and André Boyer has put full pockets, two dollars at once... and then suddenly it won't unfortunately only a matter of time before the authorities come knocking on the wrong person: the player. Players have everything to lose and nothing to win... While our two clowns continue to defraud you. Spread the word please!
