30 October: it makes a little bit...

Not much new! In fact, full of things have happened, but very little worthy of mention in a blog.
I'm eliminated from the tournament in Niagara Falls. J put an end to my match at the first level with KK against QQ. It was a weird hand, and I keep the details for a future column on CardPlayer.

Instead of strolling in Toronto, j decided to take the next flight and return to Las Vegas.

The next day, I was playing in a new NBC show that s called 'Poker after Dark '. The people behind this program are the same people who produce High Stakes Poker and the NBC Heads Up Championship, so we can s expect a quality poker show. And they not only ca... Shana Hiatt! Without stuffing!

It was fantastic to see Shana's back in the world of poker. She is so incredible person on so many facet and it was missing in the world of poker. Aside from its striking beauty, her personality is very playful, she is funny, and she seems to really be someone honest.

Its role in l issue is more important than what you are accustomed to the WPT. This issue is very different emission as seen in the usually on television. Expect to see more talking between the players and less than voice-over animators d.

The structure of the program is fairly simple. It s basically d a sit n go with six players the winner picking up everything. There are a lot of game, however, since it is played a match d approximately six hours. 20,000 chips, and it begins the blinds at 100-200 for forty minutes.

In my wave, I played against Mike Matusow, Doyle Brunson, Gabe Kaplan, Jerry Buss, and David Grey. Unfortunately, I n have not permission to tell you what happens, but I can tell you that I was very happy with my game. J made two errors, and j should have done better. C is an issue recurring with me lately: good sequences of brilliant games, followed d a silly error.

What d another happened... hmmm... oh, Yes: my wife and I had an engagement party that s very smoothly, at home. Then, all that mattered m was reupdate me with my Tivo.
J spent most of Saturday and Sunday on the couch to watch TV. J listened a few episodes of Saturday Night Live... very disappointing. I have then zapped on 60 Minutes, and I n was no more interested in most topics either. This daughter of Hewlett Packard dragged underway for this or for that... blah blah blah... I n couldn't even follow.

There was a story that was hard to watch. C was the history of the genocide that happened in the city of Darfur, Sudan. Muslim dictatorship there is rather scary. Villages were burned. Many innocent people died. There were several respects similar to what happened in Germany, during the Holocaust. They don't let not strangers to go to Darfur, naturally not wanting that the rest of the world see what is happening out there.
President Bush was aware of the situation and has publicly called it a genocide. Things are complicated, however, because Sudan apparently gives information to the U.S. Government regarding Ben Laden and Al-Qaeda. In fact, Ben Laden is the flowed sweet before in this country.

Therefore, they have carte blanche to attack and pillage villages in Darfur, as they know that the U.S. Government needs these valuable information on their part. C is a difficult situation for the US president, and I'm not trying to judge how d act against what is currently going on there. Catching Ben Laden is clearly a priority, and j hope only that during this time, it n will be not thousands of more dead.

Andy Rooney, known for his humorous comments, side left l humor in his last outing. He condemned the president for the current war in Iraq, and pleaded for the return of the troops. Rooney feels, like many elsewhere, that North Korea is a much more immediate threat to the United States.
OK, enough of policy. C is almost impossible to talk about policy without causing a riot... oh! Hold on! Maybe one more thing. You know all that Bill Frist n really like poker, non? And Nov. 7, there is an important election, and I really wish that Democrats take power. At least, the mere fact that it will be better for the poker and online poker, specifically advocates Democrats. OK! J've finished! C is promised! :)

So, Monday arrived. J watched the Real World/Road Rules challenge... and wow, c is really a very cool concept! This is not a formula d team, as c was usually. Instead, there is only one winner and a single winner: every man for himself! If you win the challenge, you are except and n you not to make the duel. Also, you choose a person of the opposite sex who is also saved for the duel. The next person selected a person, and so on, till what remains as a single person. This person must then go to the duel, and potentially faces the elimination. The problem, c is that this person can choose n any face that for l in this duel. The rest winner, the loser returns home. Each episode is a day where it removes a man, or is a day where a woman is eliminated. If certain d between you it looked l issue, you could see Tina out Beth! It was really good!

It is currently 6:00 pm, and I'm about to participate in a radio broadcast. Then, I am going to the Bellagio to play a bit of poker. It's been centuries qu it n there has not been a part, but j got a call this afternoon that m has informed as there would be a party tonight.

It will surely be a part of 2000$-$4000 mixed, and I'll probably play there for 6 hours.
